To whom it may concern, I can only say this about electronic cigarettes: they are the single most effective product I have found in over 20 years to quit smoking. I had short-term success with traditional nicotine replacement products (gum, patches) but always found myself falling off the proverbial wagon and returning to smoking. Since my wife and I began using e-cigarettes over a year-and-a-half ago, I have slipped exactly ONCE well over a year ago and have no desire to try cigarettes again. Any efforts to remove these products from the market or to eliminate the small businesses that have grown to support this industry would, in my opinion, only hinder the efforts of those who would like to use them to quit using tobacco.
