Right To Vape is an international database and repository. It contains testimonials of adults who have switched from combustible and unsafe oral tobacco products to safer nicotine alternatives.

How long did you smoke? I started smoking just before I went into the Army, at the age of seventeen and I have just recently turned sixty-five. I have tried quitting twice before, each time for two years, and right at the two year mark the urge got so strong I gave in and started smoking again. How long ago did you start using a smoke-free alternative? June 29th, 2013, I bought a refillable Vapor system by KangerTech and haven’t even considered going back to cigarettes. Exactly what smoke-free product(s) do you use (for instance, disposable e-cigarettes, mods, snus; what nicotine strength), and if this changed over time, how has it changed? The refillable eCig with a rechargeable battery is what I use. Do you still smoke at all (and if so, how much have you cut down)? No, I put down the regular cigarettes the day I started vaping and havenƒ??t smoked a cigarette since then. Did you both smoke and use the smoke-free product for a time before quitting smoking entirely (and if so, how long), or did you switch immediately? Or did you stop tobacco/nicotine entirely for a while and then start using a low-risk alternative? I smoked up to the day I started vaping. It was an easy transition, easier than I imagined it to be. What methods (NRT, Chantix, counseling, etc.) did you use to try to quit smoking before switching to a smoke-free alternative? How long were you able to go without smoking using these other methods before starting again? I have tried the lozenges, and they worked but I didnƒ??t really like them that much and they were very expensive. I quit twice ƒ??cold turkeyƒ? and it lasted two years both times. What changes in the quality of your life (both positive and negative) have you noticed since adopting the smoke-free alternative? It is three days short of five months since I have started vaping and already I can tell I am breathing a lot easier. I can sing better and hold notes way longer than I have been able to for years. When I get a cold (and have only had one in this period) the chest congestion is not as severe and when I cough it is clear and there is no rattling sound anymore. The stench from cigarette smoking is gone from my clothes, my sense of smell has returned (I hate cigarette smoke now and that is very strange because when I was smoking I loved the smell).
