I am 65 years old and thanks to ECigs I have been cigarette free since September 25th, 2012. (Almost 1 year as of this writing) I had my first cigarette at age 8. Over the years I became a serious cigarette smoker when I went into the Marine Corps in the middle 60’s These were the days when you could buy a carton of Marlboros for a dollar. (Yes and during gas war??s I could buy a gallon of gas for 12 cents a gallon) I was a 30-40 cigarette per day smoker when I finally quit using cigarettes. I live in the Las Vegas area and would go out on the weekend and smoke a couple packs of ??Native? cigarettes. Natives are a full flavored Malhaboro knock off and I could buy them for $2.80 per pack. When I came home I had to sleep sitting up in my lazy boy because when I laid in my bed fluids would build up in my throat and I would gurgle. Within one week of using ECigs I have not missed a night sleeping in my bed because of gurgling when I lay down. My wife was also a smoker (before becoming an ECig user) and together we tried several quit smoking regiments. Chantix was pretty successful for me but she had adverse reactions to this drug and ceased using it. She went back to smoking cigarettes and since they were available I also went back to smoking. After seeing the success I was having with ECigs my wife became a non-smoker about a week after I started. She had been cigarette free since September 30th, 2012 My wife is using the ECig to reduce the level of nicotine and has gone from 24MG down to a special blend 15MG nicotine levels as of this writing. I enjoy vaping. It provides me all the sensory feelings that smoking did. I think it is better for my health, and others health. I enjoy the flavors I use which tend to be in the fruit and bakery spectrum of flavors. I have been ingesting nicotine into my body, every day, for over 40 years. It is likely that I will continue to desire nicotine until the day I die. Using ECig products I think that I might have a few more days available, to me, than I would if I continued to use tobacco products.
