I started smoking at a very the young age of 11. I smoked pretty much a pack a day the whole time I smoked. I also lived a troubled life mostly do to my drug addiction. I do believe tobacco was a gate way for me. I started getting into trouble and would go to jail/prison for periods of time and every time I would tell myself I’m not gonna start smoking again when I get out, and every time I started smoking the day I got out. I had my first child on May 30th 2011. My son is my everything and I want the best for him so I figured I’d quit smoking but just was unable to do it. I am clean and sober today and I take my recovery very serious. Well my parents smoke and one day my mom came home with a vapor/e cig and told me what it was and the only reason she bought it was because my step dad was getting ready to have back surgery and was gonna be on bed rest for a while and since we don’t smoke in the house she got the vapor so he could vape in the house and not have to try and get out of bed. Well I said that’s cool I want one. Well it was about two weeks later Emmy mom step dad and fianc?? all had one. It was about 2 weeks after that and all four of us quit smoking cigarettes. My mom and step dad were two pack a day smokers. My last cigarette was May 30 2013, my sons 2nd birthday. My mom and step dad had no plans on quitting but both did. Me and my fianc?? both wanted to quit but talked about it for a year and never came close before we started vaping. Since we quit we’ve all talked and we all feel better, sleep better, we can taste things better and have more energy. At this point because of my past I have always wanted to give back to make admens for my past but can’t join the military because if my recored. So now I’m in the process of opening a vapor/ecig shop so I can help other quit smoking. I use to tell my mom all I want for Christmas or my birthday is for her to quit smoking. It never happen until she started vaping. I’m so grateful for vapor/ecigs for helping all of us quit and i just want to help as many other people as I can quit so they can live longer healthier life’s. thanks for letting me share my story with you.
