About RightToVape.org
Right To Vape is an international database and repository. It contains testimonials of adults who have switched from combustible and unsafe oral tobacco products to safer nicotine alternatives.

My name is Ric and I started smoking at 15 years old, and smoked until I was 44 years old. I had tried to stop smoking at various times in my life, but was always unsuccessful. I had used nicotine gum, at times for a year or more, but always reverted back to smoking. In Mar. of 2013, I was smoking a cigarette and could feel my heart with every drag. I knew that the myriad of toxins in cigarettes was killing me. About that time, a friend discovered vaping and let me try it. I knew that I had to make a change, for my long-term health. I started vaping and never looked back…and never smoked again! I went to Vapor’s Lounge (the longest standing e-cig store in the US) to better understand my options. I started slowly, with an EVOD BCC tank, a small battery unit, and some tobacco flavored e-juice (with nicotine at about 30). I quickly realized that I could reduce the amount of nicotine, and still enjoy the breath control of vaping. It was everything that I liked about smoking, without the toxic soup of chemicals found in cigarettes. Today, I still like to vape occasionally on a temperature controlled Mod with a UWELL tank filled with my favorite flavors. But, I don’t use nicotine any longer, and I don’t miss it. I feel so much better than I did 3 years ago, have a clean bill of health from my doctor, and tell everyone I see smoking that vaping will save them $ and make their lives healthier…if they’d only give it a try. Many of my friends have successfully quit smoking since then, and I couldn’t be happier. To put vaping in the same category as smoking seems lazy and a bit short sighted, and neglects the facts surrounding how many people have successfully quit smoking. Just because I vape doesn’t mean that I want/need nicotine any longer…and if nicotine isn’t associated with my vaping experience, then why is there a need for government overreach into this area. (I vape Max VG and flavoring that I mix myself.) I will continue to closely monitor legislation surrounding the vaping industry, watch how it affects the small business owners around the country, and vote against legislators who care more about bureaucracy than helping their constituents’ health with smoking cessation. It’s the right thing to do!
