I quit smoking on May 26, 2012 after 43 years, 20 of which I have tried using hypnotherapy, acupuncture, patch, and gum. none of them helped beyond 4 months. By July, I was on the verge of smoking again because the anxiety and cravings were so intense. I decided to take a chance on a “cigalike” menthol, since I was a menthol smoker. It was satisfying enough for me not to smoke again. I currently vape 0 – 3mg/ml liquids down from 24mg/ml.
I no longer have a wracking smoker’s cough or pasty looking skin. My thinking is clearer and my breathing is easier since I started vaping.
As for flavors, I started with tobacco and menthol but found that fruit and dessert flavors were much more pleasing and satisfying than the former to keep me from relapsing.
If not for vaping and the variety of flavors I would be smoking now and suffering from a smoking related disease or illness. I must thank Hon Lik for coming up with the solution to the deadly smoking cycle.
