My name is Daniel I am 58 years old, and have smoked for approximately 40 years. I smoked a pack a day sometimes more. During this time i attempted many times to quit, but was never able to put the cigs down. About 4 years ago i even tried using the Nicorette gum, but all i ended up doing was smoking and chewing the gum. Soon after that a friend of mine introduced me to electronic cigarettes, at first i was skeptical, but i decided to give them a try. Well in the beginning i started off with a higher nicotine level, 1.8 mg and i actually went from smoking a pack of cigs a day to about 2 packs a week which i thought was pretty good for me. I did that for about a year or so. Once the electronic cigarette industry came out with the sub tanks i tried one and i dropped my nicotine level down to 0.3, soon after that i quit smoking. I have now been tobacco free since December 17th, 2014.
