A year and 3 months ago I had no hope of quitting tobacco cigarettes. Having wasted 35 years of my health, wealth and time on cigarettes, I was only able to kick the habit after many failed attempts and failed methods with the use of an Electronic Cigarette(easily) in May of 2012. Since I have begun using an Electronic cigarette I have had major improvements in my health, no longer taking four different prescribed medicines for high blood pressure and type II diabetes. My breathing has improved dramatically and I have lost ninety pounds. None of this would have been possible without an Electronic Cigarette. Lumping vaping (Electronic cigarettes) in the same category and definition as smoking is irresponsible and dangerous to the overall public good. Sending the message the E-cigs are the same as cigarettes is indefensible. I donĀ??t always vape in public and I am very considerate of others, but when I do there is no odor and none of the second hand affects that smoking a real cigarette would expose others to. Inevitably whenever I am holding a vaporizer (e-cig) in public, I am approached by a smoker who wants to quit and is curious about the Electronic cigarette as a device to assist in quitting. I have actually helped several people to quit real cigarettes through chance encounters. This is not uncommon amongst other vapers. The only thing E-cigarettes promote is smoking cessation. In addition I believe that if e-cigarettes were to be regulated in some fashion it would be in the overall best interest of the public health as a whole if it were done very lightly. Thank You
